The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the main group to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear unsuited, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, attacking the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the companion and best friend, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Questers and Planners tables.

Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
